However, it was clarified that the judge had only allowed still photographers in court, disallowing video cameras following a successful petition from Mr. Trump's legal team. Dhillon concurred with Carlson's opinion and noted that this photograph could potentially be used as a prop in campaign ads. Dhillon told Carlson, "If the Democratic Party is using this prosecution ... to influence the outcome of the next election," she explained, "this photograph is going to be a prop in those campaign ads." She also observed that the Judge warned Trump against using rhetoric while discussing the case, which chilled his freedom of speech.

She also criticized District Attorney Bragg for not being bound by any restraints and cautioned that this could lead to an unfair trial that contravenes the principle of due process. Dhillon argued that the entire process was politically rigged and that the Democratic Party was no more than a gang of thugs. Following his arraignment, Mr. Trump gave a speech in Mar-a-Lago, where Dhillon suggested that his emphasis should be on the indictment being aimed at the American people, intended to terrorize them and discourage them from supporting a particular candidate, and that it was a form of emotional terrorism.
