A terrifying story has come out of St.

Petersburg, Florida, regarding the fact that a young child's remains were found in an alligator's mouth. The Daily Caller reports that the St. Petersburg Police Department has revealed new details regarding what happened to the 2-year-old victim in this case.

Taylen Mosley was the 2-year-old boy whose remains were found in an alligator’s mouth on March 31. CNN reported that he was allegedly placed or thrown into a lake by his father, Thomas Isaiah Mosley. This caused the young child to suffer mortal wounds and die.

The Daily Callers reports that the horrific deaths of this 2-year-old and his 20-year-old mother are believed to have occurred after the family gathered to celebrate the child’s birthday on March 29. The next day, Jeffery’s mother could not reach her daughter, and the family went back to the apartment and reportedly found blood spread throughout the sidewalk leading to Jeffrey’s place.

The apartment manager was notified of the development and could get into the apartment to figure out what else was happening with this situation. Disturbingly, this is when the manager found Jeffrey’s body stabbed more than 100 times and lying on the bathroom floor, according to an affidavit about the situation.

Mosley is still locked up in the Pinellas County Jail for now. He is awaiting a bond hearing that is scheduled for April 11. It is something that could determine how his case begins to kick off. There is a mountain of evidence against Mosley that will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to battle back against in a court of law. In this case, those disturbed by Mosley’s actions will closely watch the developments. It could still have many twists and turns to come.
