Color us shocked! Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders has been demonizing people yet again.

That is the accusation thrown at him by Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla.

Mullin and Sanders got into a heated exchange after Sanders launched into questions of Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz. Sanders tried to paint Schultz as wrong for having a significant net worth even though Sanders possesses a multi-million dollar net worth. Senator Mullin took a moment to point this out.

According to Fox News, Mullin said, “If you can be a millionaire, why can’t Mr. Schultz and other CEOs be millionaires and be honest too?” Sanders responded, “That’s a lie!”

The two went back and forth, and Mullin said that Sanders demonizes people for having the nerve to go out and make a living for themselves.

Mullin spoke with Jimmy Falia on Fox Across America Thursday and said:

“He’s demonizing all CEOs for being millionaires. He talks about equality. And here’s a guy that has been nothing but in public office,” and “He draws a pension from being a mayor, a lifelong pension, to the point to where when he passes away, his wife’s [able] to get the full pension too, every month. He’s been in office up here for 27, 28 years. And since that time, he’s [been able] to accumulate a wealth of over $8 million."

Also discussed, Sanders' wife works as a social worker, so the entire Sanders family makes their money from taxpayer dollars. However, Sanders still wants to paint a picture of other people going out and earning a living in the private sector as bad.

Mullin also said when Sanders “was asked about being a millionaire, he goes, well, if you want to be a millionaire, quote, write a bestseller, and you can become a millionaire. And I was like, [so] why are CEOs that are millionaires corrupt, that creates jobs, that hires the union members that you’re so pro towards? Why are they corrupt, and yet a bestseller that’s a millionaire that’s never created a job in his life isn’t? Explain that to me.”

Based on this exchange, Sanders only wants to demonize those who earn their living in a way he disagrees with. It’s time to turn the spotlight on the hypocrisy of what Senator Sanders decided to make an issue out of.
