According to Fox News, this video has sparked another round of outrage against drag queens and their work. Many are upset that this incident occurred; others say this is simply the latest example of why some feel that drag queens should stay far away from children whenever possible.
The group “Libs of TikTok”, obtained the video. They are sharing it to educate the public about what this particular drag queen did in this situation. The video shows the drag queen giving a Forsyth Technical Community College student a lap dance. This act has many people upset when they hear about it.

Fox News reports that Forsyth Technical Community College has two programs for high school students that begin as early as the ninth grade. The school’s official Instagram page even shows drag queens performing for young girls.
The school spoke about the event and said:
NIGHT OPERATION UNCOVERS THE TRAGIC FATE OF THREE MUSICAL FESTIVAL HOSTAGES IN GAZA TUNNEL
“These students, like all college students, are open to [attend] any student event,” and “Forsyth Tech is committed to being a place of promise for our students. [In order] to fulfill that promise, we have [clearly] spelled out our mission, vision, and equity statements.”

The Forsyth County Health Department set up an event through a program known as Prevent Ongoing Spread of STIs Everywhere (POSSE) to offer free HIV and STI testing. They also repeatedly promoted the event on their social media pages.

POSSE wrote Wednesday, “So excited to be a part (sic) of Forsyth Tech’s PRIDE Fest!”
Forsyth Public Health Director Joshua Swift stated on Tuesday to Fox News Digital that the event spent $58 of taxpayer money. Still, he also disputed some things that might have occurred at the event. He felt that some actions exceeded what they should have.
He said:
“Our staff was aware that there would be drag performances but was not involved with planning the event and had no information regarding the age of the attendees.”
