The Hill reports that the former President took to his social media platform Truth Social to warn anyone who can read his materials. He stated:.
“What kind of person can charge another person, in this case a former President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a Crime, when it is known by all that NO Crime has been committed, & also known that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our Country?”
These comments came shortly after 1 PM on Friday. Significant speculation has been that Trump will likely face an indictment in New York soon.
Trump wrote: “Why & who would do such a thing? Only a degenerate psychopath that truely hates the USA!”

This is just the latest conflict between former President Trump and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. The grand jury is trying to determine if it should issue an indictment for the alleged hush money payments he allegedly made through his lawyer to a porn star to buy her silence during the 2016 election campaign.

The Hill reports that Trump has urged his supporters to protest if the grand jury indicts him. He also says they should “take back the nation” if this passes.
No one knows how this will all play out, but many are concerned that Trump has been pushed into a tricky spot with the indictment he is potentially facing related to these allegations. Trump is scheduled to hold a rally on Saturday in Waco, Texas. This campaign stop and many others could get derailed if the President is genuinely indicted on the charges that are pressed against him.
