According to recent reports, Biden is annoyed that Harris has failed to rise to the occasion as Vice President. She’s not seen as second in command, and most people aren’t sure how she’s contributing to the country.

Fox News reported on a shocking story from Reuters that includes plenty of quotes from Biden officials on Biden’s opinion of Harris. One person said that Biden thought Harris was capable. Then, per Fox News, “‘But it is a question of consistently rising to the occasion,’ the official said.”

Another official pointed out a critical problem that the Vice President has. Per Fox News, “‘I don’t think that the President sees her as somebody who takes anything off of his plate,’ a second former White House official said, adding a ‘fear of messing up’ had caused Harris to be late in joining important political fights, like the ongoing border crisis.”

In case you’ve forgotten, Biden put Harris in charge of dealing with the border crisis soon after taking office. Then, she refused to visit the border. After the press consistently gave her a hard time for not going to the southern border, she made a trip. Then, she visited a few places and said she would address the root cause of immigration. However, no one has seen any action from Harris regarding the immigration crisis in the two years she’s been in charge.

She’s failed so miserably that the National Border Patrol Council put her on blast. Per Fox News, “‘If you were given a job 2 years ago with the explicit goal of reducing illegal immigration, and then you sit around and do nothing while illegal immigration explodes to levels never seen before, you should be fired and replaced. Period,’ the council wrote.”

Biden makes it a point to praise Kamala Harris in public, but what he says behind closed doors is another thing. However, he’s still committed to keeping her as a running mate.
