Renowned biologist and atheist Richard Dawkins recently declared during an episode of "Piers Morgan Uncensored" that there are only two sexes. He also went on to call out LGBTQ activists who are looking to discredit this biological reality, saying they are perpetuating "utter nonsense." While speaking to Morgan, Dawkins condemned the "EBB Language Project," a collection of academics attempting to police words that could be found to be politically incorrect. The list of words they have proposed to ban includes gender-specific terms such as "male, female, man, woman, mother, and father." When asked about the project by The Telegraph, Dawkins responded with "contemptuous ridicule" and vowed to continue using the prohibited words. [tweet_embed]March 22, 2023[/tweet_embed] Morgan expressed his outrage at the idea of de-gendering language and the notion that there are more than two sexes. Dawkins agreed, remarking that it is "bullying" to go after people like Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling for her commitment to the reality of two sexes. The scientist then stated that the only way to combat this "nonsense" is with science. He declared, "As a biologist, there are two sexes, and that’s all there is to it." Dawkins has faced backlash for simply asking questions about inconsistencies in the left's dogmas on gender and identity. His humanist award was even stripped in 2021 due to the following tweet: "In 2015, Rachel Dolezal, a white chapter president of the NAACP, was vilified for identifying as Black. Some men choose to identify as women, and some women choose to identify as men. You will be vilified if you deny that they literally are what they identify as. Discuss." Dawkins pointed out that all he did was ask people to discuss the issue, but some people seem to think that "discuss" implies that a person has taken a position. "I wasn’t even doing that. I was asking people to discuss. Discuss. That’s what I’ve done all my life in universities." Dawkins is firm in his belief that there are only two sexes and that science should be used to combat any attempts to discredit this reality. He believes that discussions should be had about the subject rather than people being demonized for having a different opinion.
