A man who purchased a gun for Kyle Rittenhouse is now headed to jail.

MSN reports that Dominick D. Black is the man in question. He has been charged and convicted of fleeing from police. The charge is a Class I felony, and now Black is headed off to jail for having done this.

The sentence handed down to him was six months in jail and three years probation. Judge Angelina Gabriele ruled on the case in Kenosha County Circuit Court.

Black gave a tearful apology and said: "I want to apologize to the people I put in danger."

Black was headed out of Kenosha on a gray motorcycle and had no registration on that motorcycle. He was going northbound in Kenosha and began traveling faster than the posted speed limit. An officer turned on his emergency lights and began to pursue the driver.

Black claimed that the actions he took resulted from alcoholism and drug addiction that he says he formed. After all, he became an unintentional celebrity because he purchased a gun for Rittenhouse.

Prosecutors claimed that Black had a "disregard for the safety of others" and displayed a "complete disregard for authority."

In the past, Black-faced charges for purchasing a rifle for then-17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse. In that case, he took a plea bargain and avoided jail time. However, it seems Black cannot keep himself out of trouble lately. He faced additional charges from the police in this case, and he could not avoid prison time.

Black said that he is working on reforming his life. At this point, he has a 1-year-old son, and it is part of his probation that he is not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages. Hopefully, this will help him keep out of trouble with the alcoholism he says has taken over his life in many ways. He is set to go to the Kenosha County Jail on Saturday to begin serving his sentence.
