Former President Trump already announced his plans to run in the Presidential election in 2024, and he’s hitting the campaign trail.

Saturday saw President Trump making various stops throughout New Hampshire and South Carolina. One surprise stop in South Carolina resulted in one of the most heartwarming moments of the weekend.

Before leaving South Carolina, Donal Trump stopped at an iconic restaurant named Zesto in West Columbia. Upon his arrival, staff members were excited to greet the future President.

Staff came forward for a chance to meet or see him, and patrons began lining up for the perfect photo opportunity. There was a heavy police presence for security, but they didn’t get in the way of Trump supporters meeting the former President of the United States.

Pictures are already circulating online showing Trump meeting one supporter after another. He let plenty of people take pictures alongside him and even stood behind the counter for photos with employees.

Margo Martin, one of Trump’s aides, shared a video on Twitter of a supporter taking his hand to pray with him. As the video continues to circulate, it’s clear that this is a sweet side of Trump that mass media outlets don’t let people see.

However, his aides aren’t the only ones sharing photos and videos. Kristen Holmes tweeted that he ordered a chocolate-dipped cone and pointed out that he was enjoying some retail politics for the moment instead of the large-scale rallies he’s become widely known for. Jason Miller also posted pictures of Trump.

Trump has become known for his massive rallies and the many Trump supporters there chanting along with him. However, there’s nothing wrong with throwing in some retail politics on the campaign trail. The patrons were pleasantly surprised, and everyone enjoyed his visit.
