Former President Donald J. Trump has garnered many fans since he began his political journey.

Lynette Hardaway, known by many as the ‘Diamond’ of the Diamond & Silk duo, was one of the most renowned. According to the Western Journal, Trump plans to attend Diamond’s celebration of life ceremony in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

A staunch Trump supporter and conservative to the core, Diamond and her sister Silk rose to popularity in their vocal support of the 45th President on social media and people.

With the untimely passing of Hardaway, Trump posted on social media news of the service, calling her “a true patriot and a friend.” According to the Western Journal, the Diamond and Silk Twitter account re-posted his message:

“Message From President Trump, This Saturday, in North Carolina, we’re going to celebrate the life of Lynette “DIAMOND” Hardaway, who was a true patriot and a friend. See you there! RSVP Here: bit.ly/3Xla6ae.”

In his video announcement of the event, Trump praised the life of Hardaway, saying, “The world lost an angel and true friend, Lynette ‘Diamond’ Hardaway. She was great. Diamond lived her life founded on passion and love for all of humanity. The legacy she leaves behind will forever remain in our hearts; she was a really great person.”

Trump continued, “She lived [life] in a credible way, and we’re going to have a wonderful celebration and ceremony…they were with me from the beginning, and they never waivered.”

The duo was fired by Fox News a couple of years ago for spreading misinformation about COVID-19 and vaccines. Because of Diamond and Silk’s affiliation with Trump, several liberals have tried to use Hardaway’s death to smear the duo. Marc Lamont Hill announced Hardaway’s death on Twitter, making allegations Silk declared were false, when he posted, “In late November, she was hospitalized due to COVID-19. You cannot script this stuff.”

Investigate Before You Celebrate! The Diamond and Silk account’s rebuff came in the form of a flaming tweet, “I will NOT allow you or any other MOFO the opportunity to disparage, slander & lie on my sister & I. Where’s your proof that my sister was ever hospitalized due to COVID and that we were fired from Fox? You have until noon today to retract.”

Hardaway’s cause of death has not been published. A fundraiser on the GiveSendGo platform has raised over $100,000 in Hardaway’s name.
