Multiple publications in the area have stated the number of calls out for sex workers in the Davos area is at an all-time high at the moment.
The spike is not exactly unexpected. The Times reported in 2020 that the World Economic Forum had become something of a “den of prostitution and predators,” with professional sex workers showing up in Davos all the time to try to get the work that they need to get when they know that the world’s politicians and powerbrokers have all shown up in the area.
The managing director of one sex escort service stated the following to a local publication in the area:
January 20, 2023
“So far, we have eleven reservations and 25 inquiries for the coming week. But I assume that there will be more.”

The manager continued by saying:

“For example, our women have already been brought to Davos by diplomats and company bosses.”

and
“Some also book escorts for themselves and their employees to party in the hotel suite.”
Another escort told the media that she had received multiple inquiries for her services. It seems that the influential people who have gathered in Davos are not shy about asking for what they want and trying to get everything they can from the sex workers in the area. This might lead some to question why they can get away with something like this, but it is likely because they are influential individuals and tend to get away with what they want.
Besides, the laws regarding sex work are quite a bit different in other countries compared to how they are structured in the United States. That is also important to keep in mind.
