In November, right before the midterm elections, attorneys, who were clearing out his office, found classified documents stored in the Penn Biden Center.
The University of Pennsylvania hosted the Penn Biden Center. Just the News reported that the University received $47.7 million from China in three years while Biden held affiliations with the Ivy League school.
Additionally, WION reported that Professor Joe Biden was paid $1 million by the University of Pennsylvania between 2017 and 2019 yet never taught a class after becoming an honorary professor in 2017. In 2021, the University granted Biden an unpaid leave of absence to pursue his presidential run.

According to Just the News, the University of Pennsylvania collected tens of millions of dollars from China while paying Joe Biden and hosting his foreign policy think tank.

According to Just the News, Beijing used university academics to bid for China’s espionage through an FBI China initiative program. Attorney General Merrick Garland shut down the initiative in February 2022 after more than 160 University of Pennsylvania faculty members signed and made public an open letter demanding the program stop stating racial profiling.

The letter stated:
“We understand that concerns about Chinese government-sanctioned activities, including intellectual property theft and economic espionage, are important to address. We believe, however, that the China Initiative has deviated significantly from its claimed mission: it is harming the United States research and technology competitiveness, and it is fueling biases that, in turn, raise concerns about racial profiling.”

Just the News reports, Nearly $20 million came through in donations to the University, with the Chinese money pouring in most rapidly in the four months after Biden opened the center in February 2018.
The Department of Education filed a complaint in May of 2020 by the NLPC requesting that the department investigate all the Chinese gifts to Penn and the Penn Biden Center. The complaint alleged the gifts listed as anonymous were “in clear violation” of the Higher Education Act’s requirement that “all gifts or contracts exceeding $250,000 must disclose the foreign ownership and control fo the gift or contract.”
