Genius Logic: This Woke Sports Commentator DISCOURAGES Black Coaches From Taking Affirmative Action Hiring

The Houston Texan football team is looking for a head coach because they have fired their current one.

For the third straight season, the team leadership removed the coach because of the team’s poor performance.

The story’s heart is that ESPN talk show host Stephen A. Smith came out and stated that African-Americans should not even consider making a bid for the position.

Fox News reported that Smith said, “African Americans need not apply. [This] is not an organization that has been fair to African Americans, as far as I’m concerned. And I have these two as an example. You could use Romeo Crennel and the [kind of] situation they put him in in the past. I don’t like this organization.”

Smith accused the organization of being harsh towards colored coaches. He needs to understand that the team focuses not on color but on a winning record. And the person that cannot give results will not be the coach in the new season.

Fox News also reported that “Houston hasn’t had the most competitive roster these last few years, especially after trading DeAndre Hopkins and Deshaun Watson, two of their most important players who were key in making the playoffs in 2018 and 2019. In both of those seasons, the Texans won the AFC South but were never able to make a run for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.”

Poor-performing players are going to reflect on the head coach. He has the job of finding players that can make the team into a winning machine. And the past three coaches still need to do their job.

Some believe that Smith should lose his job for his comments. They were fired because of performance and not because of the color of their skin, as Smith promotes. However, in liberal media, he can seemingly get away with making such statements because of the woke mentality currently dominating the liberal mindset.
