Republican Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is making good use of her time in her new role as the Governor of Arkansas.

The Daily Caller reports that in just her first few days in office, Sanders has already gone to work to make sure Critical Race Theory (CRT) is not something that will be taught in the state of Arkansas.

The Daily Caller obtained the executive order issued by Governor Sanders to direct the Department of Education not to allow CRT teaching in Arkansas schools. This order is powerful and appears to be the way forward for preventing the teaching of things like CRT in schools in the state moving forward. The order even prohibits students and teachers from attending training that promotes CRT as a legitimate subject worthy of consideration in the school system.

The executive order says that teachers should teach students skills on how to think about what they should think. It also states that education is the job of teachers, not indoctrination. CRT is an ideology that Governor Sanders has decided should not be taught in Arkansas’ public school system.

According to the Daily Caller, CRT teaches that America is fundamentally racist by nature and that people should view every interaction they have with other people regarding race. This is to say that there are people who believe it is wise to teach others to look at everything they do through the lens of race.

Governor Sanders was only sworn into office as of Tuesday, but she isn’t holding back when it comes to getting CRT off the agenda for Arkansas schools. She replaced former Governor Asa Hutchinson, who could not run again due to term limits.

Education is said to be one of the biggest priorities on the agenda for Governor Sanders during her time in office.
