The fact that she doesn't want people to talk about it is something that many don't see as a fair thing to be upset with others about.

The interview continued in this type of format for most of the rest of it. AOC kept insisting that she had been in danger for most of her public career, and Wallace just kept lobbing softballs at the liberal representative.

It is hardly any wonder, after all of that soft treatment, that people are upset with Wallace and don't understand why he has approached this interview with AOC with the approach that he has. It is an incredibly odd position to take.
