Chris Wallace was seen by most of the nation as a tough but fair interviewer when he hosted Fox News Sunday.

However, he moved networks over to CNN, and his credibility has taken a hit with some.

He recently had an interview with far-Left extremist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). He asked her if voters were looking for someone less extreme when they elect their representatives. As you might have anticipated, Cortez protested that she's not extreme, even though that's how she's viewed by much of the country.

Wallace then contributed some points to AOC by saying she did an excellent job questioning former Trump fixer Michael Cohen. Wallace said that AOC was able to pull this off due to her instincts as a former bartender. This is part of a liberal myth that AOC is somehow an incredible generational talent. In reality, many point to the fact that she has accomplished next to nothing with her time in Congress.

After a commercial break, Wallace returned to lap AOC with even more praise. He said she is a "social media star," but he noted that being a social media star comes with a price.

Trump backer Steve Cortes once mocked AOC's boyfriend for showing a picture of his feet on the Internet. AOC responded to that on her own Twitter account by saying the following:

"If Republicans are mad, they can't date me. They can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations on my boyfriend's feet. Ya creepy weirdos."

People point out that she is a representative and has a following of over 13 million on Twitter. Many believe those two facts alone mean that who she is dating is a topic for conversation that others can explore. The fact that she doesn't want people to talk about it is something that many don't see as a fair thing to be upset with others about.

The interview continued in this type of format for most of the rest of it. AOC kept insisting that she had been in danger for most of her public career, and Wallace just kept lobbing softballs at the liberal representative.

It is hardly any wonder, after all of that soft treatment, that people are upset with Wallace and don't understand why he has approached this interview with AOC with the approach that he has. It is an incredibly odd position to take.
