If you’re going to beat up a pregnant woman in Florida, you might want to look out for well-meaning bystanders who come packing a weapon and know how to use it.

At least one woman remains thankful that not everyone with a gun does harm.

While a pregnant woman’s boyfriend beat her and began stomping on her, a good guy with a gun saved the day! The attack immediately ended as he drew his weapon.

According to Blaze News, the horrific incident occurred outside a Publix grocery store in Largo, Florida. The pregnant woman told Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies that her boyfriend, 27-year-old Cole Danisment, got angry and started punching her in the face. She fell to the ground, but that didn’t stop her attacker. Danisment kept beating up his girlfriend, moving from hitting her to stomping on her head and upper body.

As per the Miami Herald, a witness who feared for the woman’s life drew his gun on the attacker. That is when the whole ordeal ended immediately! As soon as the attacker saw the gun pulled on him, he stopped the attack.

The pregnant woman left the scene alive but “covered in large amounts of blood” and suffered a possible broken nose, according to The Blaze. She told deputies that Danisment knew of her 14-week pregnancy with his unborn child.

It turns out that the boyfriend has a history of violent attacks against his girlfriend. According to the Miami Herald, deputies noted a no-contact order against Danisment following his arrest on a domestic battery charge the week before.

The no-contact order did not stop him from attempting violence again one week later. However, a bystander with a gun ended it fast.

Danisment was charged with aggravated domestic battery and jailed in the Pinellas County Jail with a $20,000 bond.
