Kari Lake has made more than a few statements in her recent TV interview that had the people of Arizona listening.

The Republican gubernatorial candidate had a lot to say in a lengthy interview covering topics that included her saying she would declare an invasion of the U.S. southern border, threats by the NFL Super Bowl to move the 2023 game away from Arizona, and the Fentanyl crisis in the U.S., according to a report by Breitbart.

During the interview, she said, “Do you want to tell me that a bunch of football teams owned by billionaires are okay with Fentanyl pouring across our border at a record level, killing our young people?” “The number one killer right now is Fentanyl, 18 to 45. It’s killing a generation of people. If the NFL is okay with that, then they gotta do some soul-searching. I don’t think the NFL is that stupid. I really don’t.”

“We want to make sure that we’re stopping the cartels. The people of Arizona are who I work for, and that’s why I’m here with you today.”

Lake has taken a stand about the damage of Fentanyl and the effect the drug has had on the nation. Lake said, “I’m not going to be taking marching orders from the NFL. I’m going to be taking marching orders from the people of Arizona who are tired of their children getting their hands on the most deadly drug this country has ever seen.”

The American Tribune describes Lake as a no-holds-barred candidate for governor and someone who is the Constitution and morality guide.

Lake’s opponent for governor, Democrat Katie Hobbs, is just the opposite. The two were scheduled to debate, but according to The American Tribune, Hobbs refused to attend, allowing Lake the stage and the moderator to herself.

According to The American Journal report, when asked by the moderator, “You have stated for quite a while now, day one as governor, that you would declare an invasion at the southern border. Do you believe you have the legal authority to do that?”

Lake responded,” Absolutely.” “Article one, section 10, United States Constitution.”
