Report Shows CNN's Jim Acosta Is In BIG TROUBLE

Ever since Chris Licht took over the management of CNN with the mandate of changing the venerable news network from ideologically based analysis and political pontification to reporting the news, a slow-moving night of the long knives has ensued.

CNN on-air personalities such as Brian Stelter and Chris Cuomo have found themselves out of a job due to their far-left presentations. Don Lemon was demoted from prime time to an early morning time slot.

According to Post Millennial, Jim Acosta’s head will be the next to be placed on the chopping block. News Cycle Media President John Nicosia announced the impending separation of Acosta from CNN on Twitter.

“The person this Discovery exec was talking about is Jim Acosta. CNN (like they did when I reported about Stelter being let go) will be to defend the person. That’s what network PR people do. Keep in mind many of the recent people who let go had significant support within the network /more—

“But did not fit into the ‘middle ground’ vision CNN is being pushed into. Since Acosta was the main Trump lightning rod between the “old” CNN and the new owners future vision he will either go quick, or with a lot of internal pushback. Stay tuned.”

Nicosia noted that Acosta would not be the last CNN talking head out of a job. But the process of changing CNN into an actual news network is going to take time. Many people inside the organization are still keen to keep CNN as a “resistance network” as it was during the Trump presidency.

Acosta has a history of outrageous on-air comments.

“In 2020, Acosta claimed, without providing any evidence, that he and his colleagues have been subjected to ‘death threats from supporters of President Donald Trump. He conducted a ‘cringeworthy’ biased interview with former President Barack Obama a few days later.

“In 2021, Acosta called Tucker Carlson and GOP leaders the ‘American Taliban.’”

Nicosia cautioned that CNN management would likely deny that Acosta will be let go until the thing happens. The pattern occurred when rumors that Brian Stelter was on the way out occurred.
