An update from The Post Millennial notes Twitter has reposted a tweet made by Florida’s Surgeon General, Joseph Ladapo, that Twitter had initially censored on Sunday morning.

The previously censored tweet by Joseph Ladapo advised men not to be injected with the COVID-19 vaccine aged 18-39 because of an increased death rate of 84 percent found for that age group.

Mr. Ladapo released the analysis done by the state regarding COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, noting the “increased risk of cardiac-related death among men 18-39.” Ladapo said Florida “will not be silent on the truth.”

The self-controlled case by the Florida Department of Health “studied mortality risk following mRNA COVID-19 vaccination.” The study also showed that “Males over the age of 60 had a 10 percent increased risk of cardiac-related death within 28 days of mRNA vaccination.” Also, “Non-mRNA vaccines were not found to have these increased risks among any population.”

Ladapo has also recommended that the COVID-19 vaccine not be given to young children. In Politico’s article, Ladapo is described as being outspoken and skeptical of the vaccines for COVID-19 and questions the vaccines’ safety and effectiveness, even though the medical community agrees the vaccines lessen symptoms and protect against the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Johns Hopkins Medicine, the FDA, and the Mayo Clinic are among the medical communities that stress the vaccines’ safety.

In a post, Twitter stated its reasons for blocking Ladapo, “Our current misleading information policies cover: synthetic and manipulated media, COVID-19, and civic integrity.” “If we determine a Tweet contains misleading or disputed information per our policies that could lead to harm, we may add a label to the content to provide context and additional information.”

According to Politico, Bryan Griffin, press secretary to Governor Ron DeSantis, posted a tweet saying, “This is an unacceptable and Orwellian move for narrative over fact.”

Twitter restored the post later in the day, receiving a follow-up thank you from Griffin.
