According to The Post Millennial, journalist Christopher Rufo explained it. The news source stated, “Rufo wrote, ‘The City of Dallas has adopted a new racial equity plan. The new plan uses the language of Critical Race Theory. It argues for replacing the goal of ‘equality’ with ‘equity,’ or equality of outcomes.”
What does that mean? In short, it means that non-white individuals get an advantage over white people.
The Post Millennial stated, “equity is a concept whereby discrimination is actively used to enforce equality of outcome. It is distinct from equality, whereby everyone is treated without discrimination to ensure equality of opportunity.”

The same news source also said, “The city’s language acknowledges that hundreds of years of oppression are part of Critical Race Theory (CRT). CRT is a form of racial essentialism that defines individuals by their racial and ethnic identity groups and then assigns them a place within structures and hierarchies of power.”

It’s racism at a state-wide level. Instead of single companies opting to fire white people before firing non-white people, the entire city will adopt that attitude on multiple levels. Basing this merely on a person’s skin color wreaks racism. How is discriminating against one skin color going to promote equity?
