The MyPillow CEO and spokesman, Mike Lindell, says FBI agents confiscated his cell phone while he waited for his food at a fast food restaurant. The incident happened Tuesday while Lindell waited in line at a Mankato, Minnesota, Hardee’s restaurant.

He was returning home from a hunting trip. According to Lindell, “Cars pulled up in front of us, to the side of us, and behind us, and I said those are either bad guys or the FBI.” It turns out it was the FBI. Agents began questioning him about Tina Peters.

Peters is currently facing criminal charges in Colorado for tampering with voting machinery as a county clerk. Lindell campaigned for Peters. In June, she lost a Republican primary where she was running to be the state’s top election official.

Lindell said he only handed over his cell phone after consulting with his attorney first. He explained, “They surrounded me at a Hardees and took my phone that I run all my business, everything with.” He said, “What they have done is weaponize the FBI. It’s disgusting.

I don’t have a computer that phone everything was on everybody.” Lindell said the grand jury subpoena he received requested information about Dominion Voting Systems machines and a Colorado clerk, Tina Peters. The MyPillow CEO assumed they would serve him a summons for his part in the January 6 Capitol event.

But, he was surprised when they instead started asking about Peters. Mike Lindell has been a significant proponent of former President Donald Trump and extremely vocal in attempts to investigate the 2020 election.

He wholeheartedly believes the election was tampered with through voting machines and other nefarious means and that there is enough evidence to overturn the supposed election results. Lindell added, “I’ve been to many jails.

I’m not scared to go to jail. I’m trying to save my country.” An FBI spokesperson confirmed the incident happened, saying agents were “at that location executing a search warrant authorized by a federal judge.” However, the spokesperson gave no further details.
