Watch: Abbot Bussing Migrants To A NEW City, Mayor Questions His Christian Faith

The inaction by the Biden Administration continues to put Texas citizens in danger. Governor Abbott has found his solution. Since April, the mayor has been sending immigrants on a bus to liberal cities like New York and Washington DC. The latest bus of immigrants arrived in Chicago, and the mayor doesn’t seem happy about it.

According to Fox News, “Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot cast doubt on Gov. Greg Abbott’s Christian faith in remarks denouncing the Texas Republican busing migrants from the southern border up to the Windy City.”

During a press conference, Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot declared, “This is not the Christianity and the teachings of the Bible that I know. And I think religious leaders all across the country are standing up and denouncing exactly this.”

Abbott responded, “To continue providing relief to our small and overrun border towns, Chicago will join fellow sanctuary cities Washington, DC, and New York City as a drop-off location. Mayor Lightfoot loves to tout the responsibility of her city to welcome all, regardless of legal status. I look forward to seeing this in action as these migrants receive critical resources from a sanctuary city that has the capacity to serve them.”

Despite Lightfoot declaring that her city is a sanctuary for immigrants, she doesn’t seem too happy about having a few dozen immigrants arriving in her city. Not only has Mayor Lightfoot questioned his Christianity, but she has also blasted him, calling his tactics racist and declaring that he is being unpatriotic, according to Fox News.

Lightfoot stated, “I understand the pressures the people of Texas and some other border states are dealing with. We see that daily, but the thing to do is not this. Bussing immigrants elsewhere is creating a humanitarian crisis. Treating people without dignity and respect is not who we are as Americans.”

Mayor Lightfoot has acknowledged that the immigration situation is a problem, but it only seems to be a problem when she has to deal with it. When border towns are unsafe, the human crisis remains unacknowledged by those that support Biden and his failed immigration policies.
