A recent survey published by the Trafalgar Group has announced that Biden's approval rating in November has continued to drop, landing at 36.3 percent.

Of the 36.3 percent that approve of Biden's job performance, 18.1 percent strongly approve, and 18.2 percent approve. Of the 59.1 percent that disapprove, 52.2 percent strongly disapprove, and 6.9 percent disapprove.

Among Democrats, only 65 percent of respondents announced they approve of Biden's job performance, and 31 percent stated they disapproved.

89.7 percent of Republicans disapprove of Biden's job performance, with a massive 85.3 percent of those stating they strongly disapprove.

Biden's survey numbers have been falling throughout his presidency, taking a sharp decline after the chaotic departure from Afghanistan. Recent problems with supply chains, the skyrocketing cost of household items, and gasoline have not worked in his favor.

Biden made many mistakes throughout his presidency thus far; Afghanistan was not the only source of voter dismay. Despite campaign-trail promises and concerted presidential efforts to get COVID under control, the pandemic has proceeded to explode. The public health and economic toll have remained substantial as a massive 40 percent of the population (aged 12 and over) have not yet been vaccinated.

Many Americans may never get on board with science. One route to surmount this obstacle was to implement vaccine mandates for federal workers, associated contractors, and employees of big companies. Such a solution brought its own collection of difficulties, as government mandates do not sit well with Americans.

Unfortunately for the President, and arguably through no fault of his, COVID is a polarizing problem. It has become possible to find out a person's political leanings based on their adherence – or lack thereof – to wearing a mask.

Pandemic partisanship has enabled Biden's opponents to make political hay with the situation. After 22 months of disruption, it is comfortable for voters to forget that COVID started and rapidly spiraled out of control throughout the Trump presidency. His was an Administration that showed no interest in planning for distance risk. As a result, his replacement inherited a monumentally challenging public health disaster.
