Electronics superstore chain Best Buy sent out an email to their workers giving counseling services in response to a jury clearing Kyle Rittenhouse last Friday on charges of homicide, attempted homicide, and reckless endangering in the deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and the wounding of Gaige Grosskreutz.

Best Buy was one of the numerous companies to update their website and social media pages after the death of George Floyd and after the shooting injury of Jacob Blake.

None of the men shot by Rittenhouse were black.

The email from Mark Irvin, Chief Inclusion Talent and Diversity Officer, was addressed to all employee resource group members and stated, "The verdict in Kyle Rittenhouse's trial stirs many emotions, and it’s another difficult moment for our nation."

"While these events can be challenging and deeply hurtful, I hope you will take a moment to reflect on the values that unite us as a company and as a nation. We can do better, as each of us as individuals, allies, and human beings press together for better outcomes."

On Tuesday, Corie Barry told CNBC's "Squawk Box" that she is "seeing more loosely organized groups come together and target our stores," a trend that is scaring employees.

"What I would really stress here is, for our employees, these are really traumatic experiences," she announced. "Obviously, their safety is our first priority."

"They are happening more and more across the country," Barry said. "It's really been a horrible change in the trajectory of the business, and one we are working hard to try and stem."
