White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki snapped at a reporter on Monday when she was asked regarding President Joe Biden's sinking poll numbers throughout a press briefing.

"On the polling, the president's polling continues to collapse," Emerald Robinson asked at the end of the briefing.

"Emerald, I know you like to shout at the end," Psaki stated, "next time we'll do it during the briefing."

This after a new poll was published, discovering that 54 percent of Americans think that the nation is less united now than before. The survey, issued September 19, showed a gradual decline in public support for the Biden administration.

Americans cite his "Incompetence/Poor leadership" as the reason for their lack of confidence in his administration. Furthermore, the poor results in the departure of US military forces from Afghanistan have played a part in America's anger with Biden's leadership. Others simply announced the president is "doing a bad job."

The economy and the administration's vaccine mandates, and their Covid response, were among other reasons. Some Americans further cited Biden's errors at the US-Mexico border for their feeling that the president is failing to lead the American people and the country in a positive direction.

Congressional Democrats are working their tails off to pass Biden’s massive spending proposals. One of the biggest currently making its way through Congress has drawn warnings from Republicans, who explain it will further increase inflation.

Federal unemployment benefits extended from the previous administration’s COVID-19 response have formed a massive labor shortage in the U.S., with prices of goods and services growing because of it, as well as supply chain problems.

Proposed deficit-spending of another $3.5 trillion has spurred inflation fears, with alarms being sounded by countless Republicans.

Furthermore, a crisis inherited from his predecessor, Biden’s answer to the pandemic, let alone the currently dominant delta variant, has been rife with contradictions.

One of the most recent examples of the president flip-flopping in his COVID-19 rejoinder was his widely-panned vaccine mandate announcement for companies with more than 100 employees.

Under the mandate, companies with over 100 employees would be needed to have all employees vaccinated or test negative weekly before going back to the office.

Biden had previously declared in December that there would not be a nationwide vaccine mandate, with his administration doubling down just two months before on the stance, maintaining the mandates were "not the role" of the federal government.

The statement was met with fierce resistance from conservatives, who argue for public awareness of the vaccine though say medical choices should not be mandated.

Furthermore, Biden has been relying heavily on National Institute on Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Anthony Fauci, who has had his own share of flip-flops.
