Comedian and Podcaster Joe Rogan returned to his show Tuesday after a short hiatus due to contracting the COVID-19. After his last episode, Rogan was diagnosed with the virus and published a video where he explained his plans in taking many supplements and medications, including Ivermectin.

The host of the popular Joe Rogan Experience podcast published the news about his diagnosis on Wednesday on his Instagram, telling his followers he "immediately threw the kitchen sink" at the illness.

"All kinds of meds," he said in the video, adding: "Monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, Z-pack, prednisone—everything. Crazy times we're living in, but a wonderful, heartfelt thank you to modern medicine for pulling us out so quickly and easily."

Since then, mainstream media has lambasted the podcast host for taking "horse dewormer" medicine. "Bro, do I have to sue CNN?" asked Joe Rogan after his guest Tom Segura poked fun at him for being misrepresented by the media.

"They're making sh*t up. They keep saying I'm taking horse dewormers. I literally got it from a doctor," Rogan stated. "It's an American company, they won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for use in human beings and CNN is saying I'm taking horse dewormer."

Ivermectin in fact received a Nobel Prize for its powerful effects in defeating parasites in humans. "They must know that that's a lie," announced Rogan in response to CNN claiming Ivermectin is a horse dewormer drug.

In addition to his response to the misinformation about his illness, Rogan touched on the social media mob wishing and hoping he became sicker as a consequence of being unvaccinated and using Ivermectin.

"How crazy is it to you... having people wish you got sicker? Isn't that crazy?" asked Tom Segura.

"I didn't pay attention," Rogan answered. "Well, the good news is I was only sick for a day," he maintained.

"Because I wasn't scared during the entire pandemic. What they would like is that when I did get sick, that I was really sick and became really scared and learned my lesson. And instead, it's the worst case scenario for them. Right? I bounced back. About as quick as you f*cking can," Rogan explained.

"They're haters but that's their life. You gotta live like that. Imagine spending any time whatsoever wishing that a person felt bad? It's just the dumbest f*cking thing you could ever spend your energy on...But I know, I'd heard that that was going on, but I didn't pay attention to it. It's like, you know, they're weak bitches"
