New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and three other House Democrats associated with the far-left Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have so far stayed silent while the DSA seems to support Cuba's communist regime against protesters necessitating freedom.

Ocasio-Cortez, Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib, New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman, and Missouri Rep. Cori Bush make up the four DSA members in Congress. All four members have yet to talk about the continuous protests in Cuba.

The DSA International Committee on Monday declared its solidarity with the "Revolution" – the term used by the communist regime – "in this moment of unrest." The DSA's national arm also repeated Cuba's president in denouncing America's trade ban with the communist regime for the change.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described Democratic socialist, divulged his calm on the Cuban protests in a late-night tweet Monday that urged the Cuban government to "refrain from violence" while slamming the U.S. for its ban.

Cuba isn't the only socialist regime to get positive treatment from the DSA.

Earlier this month, a DSA delegation met with Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, who tweeted photos from the meeting.

Sanders spoke out — to blame US sanctions rather than decades of Communist dictatorship.

“All people have the right to protest and to live in a democratic society,” Sanders tweeted just before midnight Monday of the protests that started Sunday demanding “freedom” and the removal of President Miguel Díaz-Canel.

“I call on the Cuban government to respect opposition rights and refrain from violence,” the democratic socialist implored the leader who had called for “revolutionaries” to take to the streets and fight for communism.

“It’s also long past time to end the unilateral U.S. embargo on Cuba, which has only hurt, not helped, the Cuban people,” Sanders (I-Vt.) wrote.

His message drew criticism from many who suggested he was refraining from the clear message being sent by protesters demanding freedom from the nation’s rulers — with viral images also showing some carrying American flags as a symbol of the democracy they sought.

“You want to help? Repost the unedited streams coming from the Cuban youth on the island. They are calling for Liberty and an end to Communism,” Miami-based musician Eloy Escagedo replied to Sanders.

“As a Cuban, I can tell you the US Embargo has to stay in place until the Castro/DiazCanel dictatorship is out of Cuba,” someone named May also tweeted.

“The Cuban people need support to remove the government!!!!!”
