The video also recorded some of the last words the driver, Mohammad Anwar, a father of three who immigrated from Pakistan, spoken. The man said: “This is my car!”
As reported by the authorities, Anwar Mohammad was 66 years old, he died when he was flung from the car onto a sidewalk after the young girls, ages 15 and 13, stun-gunned him and drove off with him still clinging to the side of his Honda.
There is 1-minute 27-second video from a cell phone, which has recently been posted to social media. It starts with Anwar standing by the parked car, apparently trying to get one of the teens out from behind the wheel while the other, clad in pink, can be seen in the passenger seat. It is recorded that Anwar shouted as he leaned against his Honda:

“They’re thieves! This is my car!”
Only some moments after, the driver’s door opened, positioning Anwar half in and half out of the vehicle, then the car speeded off. The man’s car is seen sideswiping a nearby metal barrier and light pole, it caused the open driver’s door to roughly slam into Anwar’s body.

After that happened the car raced down the block and disappeared, turning a corner just before the sounds of a crash lead witnesses, who were recording Anwar’s struggle running toward the place of accident.
Then the video demonstrates the two girls jumping from the vehicle with the assistance of National Guard troops, who were in the area, while Anwar remains lying face-down on a sidewalk, surrounded by debris and, apparently, struggling to move.

It remains unclear why, exactly, the girls targeted Anwar, who picked them up at the Navy Yard Metro station around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday and drove them a short distance to the vicinity of Nationals Park, near where the tragedy took place.
The teenagers are charged with felony murder and armed carjacking and are being held waiting for their next court date on the 31st of March.

According to official records, one of the girls charged with killing an Uber Eats driver in a botched carjacking in Washington, DC, has pleaded guilty for felony murder. The 15-year-old girl, who has not been publicly identified, entered the plea last Wednesday, and is expected to be sentenced on the 4th for killing Mohammad Anwar.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the older teen’s guilty plea was the result of a deal with prosecutors in the case. However, we know that other charges against her have been dropped, according to the report, citing a DC Superior Court spokeswoman. The 13-year-old girl is still facing the charges.
Importantly, under the laws of DC, the 13-year-old teen cannot be charged as an adult, even if dealing with a case of murder. In juvenile court in the district, defendants who are found guilty, may only be jailed until the age of 21.
