Here Is What Kamala Has Done For America's Border Crisis In Her 50 Days Leading It

The editors of Blabber.Buzz wanted to leave this article blank - as Ms. Vice President has not done anything for the Border Crisis - except perhaps make it worse. But we are trying to be less cynical so, below is the blowback that Kamala has received for dropping her balls and not doing anything.

Kamala Harris and the Biden administration faced continuous criticism about the border crisis and what critics see as officials being more concerned about their own political survival than the issues on the ground.

Harris has been criticized by Republicans for going 48 days without meeting questions on the migrant surge or touring the area. Her critics call her politically shrewd, with the knowledge that if the crisis worsens, her name will be bound to it, and her wishes to someday be the president would be greatly reduced.

Her defenders say that she was not tasked with touring the border. The White House emphasized that her job is to get a diplomatic victory with leaders from Northern Triangle nations to get at the root cause of the crisis.

Fox News captured a dramatic live video of migrants, including young children, crossing the Rio Grande in Del Rio, Texas, on Monday.

Migrants hoisted young children above the river's current that was sometimes knee-deep. Throughout the mornings when the river is low, smugglers start sending groups across the Rio Grande. They come clutching babies and backpacks and gradually make their way across the river on foot, stepping from one small island to another.

All of the migrants in the group explained that they were from Venezuela. Nearly half of them said they have family in the U.S.

Local Border Patrol has been overwhelmed with over 5,000 apprehensions in the last week.

Though, meanwhile, it seems like the border crisis is on the American’s wallet.

How much is the crisis even costing taxpayers? According to a report from The Washington Post, the Biden administration is spending at least $60 million per week.

“It’s on the backs of the American taxpayer,” announced former acting commissioner of Customs and Border Protection Mark Morgan to The National Desk’s Jan Jeffcoat.

Morgan explained that one facility in Texas that processes unaccompanied minors from the ages of 14 to 17 alone will cost taxpayers $800 million by the end of the year.

“If you add in the total cost of the crisis that we're facing on the southwest border, by the end of the year, it's going to be in the billions on the backs of taxpayers,” said Morgan. “When millions of Americans are out of work, and we're infusing, within the first 100 days, almost a half a million illegal aliens in this country, and more and more to be released every single day, the burden locally on the local welfare system is also going to be in the billions.”
