Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., on Sunday, hammered President Joe Biden for failing to perform on his commitment to work with Republicans to rebuild the country damaged by the coronavirus pandemic.

In an interview on ABC News’ “This Week,” Scott predicted Biden will return to that when he addresses Congress at a joint session on Wednesday.

“I’m sure he's going to talk about unity and bipartisanship which he has not done since he's been up there,” Scott announced.

At his inauguration, Biden struck a conciliatory tone after a bitter race against former President Donald Trump — urging Americans who did not vote for him to give him a chance to be their president as well.

"To overcome these challenges to restore the soul and secure the future of America requires so much more than words. It requires the most elusive of all things in a democracy: unity," he stated. "We must end this uncivil war that pits red against blue, rural versus urban, conservative versus liberal. We can do this - if we open our souls instead of hardening our hearts."

Though he’s yet to bring Republicans and Democrats together in Congress, with some GOP critics announcing he’s caved to pressure from his own party’s left wing, including Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who sorrowed last month that Biden’s deal-maker reputation as a Senator “doesn’t exist” now that he’s in the White House.

Scott announced he hopes Biden will further tackle other pressing problems in his speech to Congress.

“I wish he would talk about the crisis on the border — which he created,” Scott said.

“It is a crisis. I have been there with [GOP Gov. Doug] Ducey to see he's created this crisis.”

Though, it seems like Scott is not alone.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., on Sunday likewise called out President Joe Biden for failing to provide leadership in the effort to establish an infrastructure bill that would create jobs and arouse the economy.

In an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Paul sorrowed that Biden hasn’t come through on his election promise to unite the nation.

“Just a couple months ago we were hearing from President Biden, the newly inaugurated President Biden, that he was going to unify the country and then we were going to work together and have bipartisanship,” he said. “I'm still waiting, Mr. President. I haven't seen any of that. I think what I've seen so far is it's Biden's way or the highway.”

“There are those of us who are saying we could be for some bipartisan infrastructure bill if it had to do with real infrastructure like roads and bridges and if it was paid for,” he said. “But so far I don't see any of that coming from Biden. I predict they're going to ram through something with only Democrat votes and no Republican participation again to a tune of a couple trillion dollars.”
