Following repeated violations of YouTube's "presidential election integrity policy," the video platform has terminated the channel for a radio show hosted by Sebastian Gorka, a one time aide to former President Donald Trump.

Gorka's show, called America First, was recently removed. The Washington Examiner can confirm it was still live, even as recently as Thursday. The show features right-wing commentary on politics "to be the new front lines in the ongoing Culture War against the Left," according to a description on Apple Podcasts.

"In accordance with our long standing strikes system, we terminated the channel America First with Sebastian Gorka, for repeated violations of our presidential election integrity policy," Ivy Choi, a YouTube spokesperson, revealed to the Washington Examiner on Sunday. "As we’ve publicly shared, our presidential election integrity policy prohibits content uploaded after last year’s safe harbor deadline that alleges widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election. Any channel that violates this policy will receive a strike and channels that receive three strikes in the same 90-day period are permanently removed from YouTube, as in the case of America First with Sebastian Gorka."

It is unclear exactly which video specifically violated the policy. One proposed possibility is an episode that was posted to Rumble, a Canadian video platform that conservatives have turned to as an alternative to YouTube, on Saturday and can still be seen on the platform. The video, titled "Can we stop the Next Steal? Joe DiGenova and Victoria Toensing on AMERICA First with Sebastian Gorka," featured commentary on "all of the ways the 2020 election was stolen from President Trump."

YouTube warns users that it will remove any content uploaded after the safe harbor deadline, the last day for states to name electors who cannot be challenged by Congress, in which there are allegations of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election.

The platform holds a relentless three-strike policy for repeated violations. If an account receives three strikes in a consecutive 90-day period, it will be immediately permanently removed from the site. A first strike results in a one-week suspension, a second strike will cause a two-week suspension, and a third strike results in termination, according to YouTube policy.

YouTube states it is against the platform's terms of service to open other channels or avoid a suspension by using another after a channel is terminated.

This is not the first time Gorka has seen a YouTube account terminated. In November 2019, YouTube terminated the radio show host's account after multiple violations of copy infringement. The violations stemmed from Gorka's refusal to stop using the Imagine Dragons song "Radioactive" in the introduction to America First.

Several other prominent Republicans have also seen bans of some kind from YouTube in recent months, including former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani and the former president himself.

Gorka has yet to respond to request for comment.
