CNN didn't precisely challenge President Biden throughout Tuesday night's town hall in Milwaukee, dodging awkward subjects for the administration or other Democrats.

While much of the program was centered on Biden's management of the coronavirus pandemic going onward, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper questioned the president on whether he agreed with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, that Senate Republicans who voted to acquit former President Trump in his impeachment trial were "cowards" and whether he would let his Department of Justice investigate his forerunner.

Meanwhile, the scandal encompassing New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo about his administration's hiding data on nursing home deaths throughout the early months of the pandemic was left unmentioned.

Cuomo, who Biden repeatedly honored throughout the 2020 election cycle, is facing bipartisan backlash after one of his top aides announced that it had hidden the data from state lawmakers out of fear the fatal figures would be used against them.

Further ignored throughout the televised event was the dramatic departure of White House Deputy Press Secretary TJ Ducklo, who was forced to resign Sunday after it was exposed that he berated a Politico reporter with sexist language and threatened to "destroy" her for seeking a story about his blossoming relationship with Axios reporter Alexi McCammond.

Biden came in for objection throughout the fiasco, with critics pointed to remarks he made last month warning administration appointees: "I’m not joking when I say this: If you’re ever working with me and I hear you treat another with disrespect, talking down to someone, I will fire you on the spot. On the spot. No ifs, ands, or buts."

Ducklo was initially simply given a one-week unpaid suspension after the story was published, which appeared three weeks after the White House communications staff was made aware of his conduct.

Cooper did, though, dedicate the last several minutes of the town hall to ask Biden "what's it like" to live in the White House."

"Was it different than you expected it to be in some ways?" he asked at one point.

CNN was massively criticized through the 2020 campaign for its "softball" town halls featuring the Democrat.

Although, it seems like Biden did many times talk about former president Donald Trump, saying he is actually tired of talking about him, Ironic.

“I’m tired of talking about Donald Trump, I don’t want to talk about him anymore,” admitted Biden, effectively dismissing his predecessor as the “former guy” – which will likely be the takeaway shiv of the night among pundits.

The new President made it clear in the just-over-hour event that a very different type of commander-in-chief was in town.
