Why Is Our Judicial System Riddled With Spineless Humans Pandering To A Populist Base?

A Fulton County judge on Thursday dismissed a Republican-led motion to block absentee ballot drop boxes after normal business hours. This makes the number of judges who are presented actual evidence of the concern being used to commit fraud over 40 - which lends to a larger question of whether there are any patriot judges left in America. Even the supreme court with it's 5-4 balance (Roberts has proven unreliable) refuses to stand up and stop the steal - or prevent a steal in this case.

The claim from the Republican National Committee and the Georgia Republican Party claimed that drop boxes should be restricted to the same hours as county election offices in the lead-up to the Jan. 5 Senate runoffs in Georgia.

“It makes no sense when we have three weeks of in-person, early voting available,” said Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. “It opens the door to potential illegal voting, especially in light of the federal rules that denies the ability to keep voter registration files clean.”

“I think, you know, the way our laws are set up …. The way our elections offices are set up in each county, it’s not set up to have a massive absentee by mail system like we had this year,” added legal counsel Ryan Germany, following an inquiry about the motive from State Representative Bee Nguyen.

Although Superior Court Judge Kimberly Esmond Adams's decision would permit drop boxes to continue to be used 24 hours a day under video surveillance until polls close for the runoff elections.

Earlier this year, a lawyer for the secretary of state's office said drop boxes were allowed to remain open at all hours under a newly approved State Election Board.

Leah Zammit, an attorney for the state Republican Party, said the case was attempted to restore public confidence in Georgia's election process.

"The eyes of the nation are on Georgia, closely watching this process," Zammit told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "This case is absolutely not about the expansion or dilution of voter rights. ... This case and this motion is about ensuring that individual counties, 159 within the state of Georgia, do not themselves alter the election rules."

The Georgia runoff elections for incumbent Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue and their Democratic challengers, Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, are set to resolve which party will control the Senate.

If Republicans lose both contests, the chamber would be split 50-50, with Democrats and the two independents who caucus with them having the benefit of a tie-breaker in Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

Democrats will retain control of the House next term, but by a slimmer margin.

The state has not revealed any widespread mail-in voter fraud and has enlisted the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to undergo an unprecedented limited signature match audit in Cobb County. President Trump’s top aide came to Georgia this week, asking state elections leaders about the investigation process. The office has said that leading the examination is an effort to show the mail-in voting process worked well.
