The victims were moved to the hospital, according to the Washington Post, and were said to be in critical condition with potentially life-threatening wounds.

It is not known if the suspect was taken into custody after the stabbing or if they left.

Eight people in total were taken to the hospital over the progression of the night, including two police officers and the four people stabbed. It is not really clear which organizations the injured parties were connected to.
Meanwhile, a person has been shot in Washington state between clashes with pro-Trump protesters and counter-protesters.

Washington State Police confirmed the firing at around 2 pm PST on Capitol Campus in Olympia and said that a suspect had been arrested but did not elaborate on them or on the status of the victim.
Cops had reported a riot at around 1.30 pm Saturday after the opposing groups began to use physical violence against each other.

And in Sacramento, five cops were wounded and six people detained following two extreme protests in the downtown area, according to CBS Sacramento.
Protests were also planned in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada and Arizona, where Trump’s campaign has tried to reverse vote counts.
As the violence began on both sides of the country, Trump returned to the White House after attending the Army-Navy football game in West Point, New York.
