President Donald Trump underlined his claim that the presidential election was rigged, maintaining that the Democrats' down-ballot defeat confirms it through a Sunday night Twitter tirade from the White House.

'"Democrats suffered crushing down-ballot loss across America." @nytimes. This is true,' Trump wrote, pointing to a New York Times article from Saturday that described how suburban voters' hatred with Trump, which was the key to Joe Biden’s success, did not translate into a rebuke of other Republicans.

'All statehouses won, and in Washington we did great. So I led this great charge, and I’m the only one that lost? No, it doesn’t work that way. This was a massive fraud, a RIGGED ELECTION!' Trump added.

Trump's tweet was immediately flagged by Twitter as a claim that has been 'disputed'.

Soon after the election was declared in favor of Biden, Trump's team filed various suits claiming voter fraud in key states.

Earlier on Sunday Trump made similar election fraud allegations in the first TV interview since losing his re-election bid and showed that he will never concede to President-elect Biden and drop his conspiracy theory about mass ballot fraud. 'It's not like you're gonna change my mind. My mind will not change in six months,' Trump said.

'This election was rigged. This election was a total fraud,' he said, again without backing this up. 'We won the election easily.'

The 45-minute Fox News interview, Trump's first on television since the November 3 election, was mostly a speech of claims without any evidence alleging election fraud, virtually unchallenged by Bartiromo.

Case after case has been denied by judges all over the country. The latest rebuff came from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which on Saturday rejected a lawsuit filed by Trump followers seeking to contest Biden's win in the state.

As President Donald Trump spends most of his post-election time out of the spotlight, Twitter has grown his primary means of communication. Though instead of having a clean genuine, Twitter has been aggressively labeling the so-called misleading and false information he regularly posts.

For example, on Saturday, 15 out of Trump’s 28 tweets were instantly flagged by Twitter as his comments about false and illegal voting were marked as “disputed”. On Sunday another five out of 10 tweets were tagged.

It seems now that Trump could say anything and it would be tagged as "disputed".

Twitter’s labels stated that “this claim about election fraud is disputed” and “multiple sources called this election differently” as Trump continued to tout conspiracies about ballots and further claimed victories in states where Biden has been called as the winner, in some cases, such as Georgia, the outcome has been certified in Biden’s favour.

Twitter has flagged 152 out of Trump’s 578 total tweets and retweets since Election Day, November 3.
