Sidney Powell suggests that the $107 million contract granted by Georgia for Dominion Voting Systems Systems should be thoroughly investigated for potential "benefits being paid to family members of those who signed the contract."

"There should be an investigation, a thorough criminal investigation, frankly, of everyone involved in acquiring the Dominion [Voting] System for the state of Georgia," Powell, a former federal prosecutor told Newsmax TV Saturday's "The Count" hosted by Tom Basile and Mark Halperin.

"And frankly for every other state, giving how appalling the system is and the fact it was designed to manipulate the votes and destroy the real votes of American citizens who were casting legal votes."

Powell's examination is revealing potential criminal charges, including "money or benefits being paid to family members of those who signed the contract for Georgia."

"I think there are multiple people in the Secretary of State's office and others that should be investigated in Georgia for what benefits they might have received for giving Dominion the $100-million, no-bid contract," Powell said.

However, The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported in 2019 Georgia did get three bids for the new voting systems, with Dominion winning on being "the lowest-cost system among three companies that submitted bids."

That contract was sought by the state after Stacey Abrams never conceded to Gov. Brian Kemp in the 2018 midterm elections, claiming the Secretary of State and Kemp unlawfully ''suppressed'' votes by voiding registrations found to be illegitimate.

Lawyers seeking to confirm President Trump’s claims of broad voter fraud said more than 1.5 million ballots were handled in three states — enough to change the result of the Nov. 3 election.

Powell, who is not on the president’s legal team but is registering pro-Trump claims, also sued officials in Michigan on Wednesday alleging Dominion software changed tens of thousands of votes for Mr. Trump to possible President-elect Joseph R. Biden.

The software hacking, according to the charge, was linked with other fraud such as backdating absentee ballots.

“While this complaint, and the eyewitness and expert testimony incorporated herein, identify with specificity sufficient ballots required to overturn and reverse the election results, the entire process is so riddled with fraud, illegality, and statistical impossibility that this court, and Michigan’s voters, courts, and legislators, cannot rely on, or certify, any numbers resulting from this election,” said the 75-page lawsuit.

Hundreds of pages of evidence were added to the complaint, including testimonies from expert witnesses.

The core of their claim in Michigan is there’s “incontrovertible physical evidence” that the protection of the voting machines was endangered by the software being connected to the internet, which the lawyers say broke federal election law.

The suit claims the software was developed by individuals with ties to the late Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez and has been used to fix elections in other countries.
