President Donald Trump announced that his campaign is still repelling the election results in Pennsylvania, alleging that his team had shown "massive proof" of voter fraud in the case.

The president went back to Twitter to denounce the result from a federal court, where on Friday a judge he elected dropped his campaign's attempt to prevent Joe Biden from being confirmed as the conqueror of Pennsylvania's electoral votes.

Trump argued on Saturday that his team had made "specific allegations" but that "some people just don't want to see it".

He added in another tweet that "fraud and illegality are a big part of the case".

Trump said that the fraud was so comprehensive in Pennsylvania that it influenced a much greater number of ballots than the 81,000 votes by which Biden secured.

"Specific allegations were made, and we have massive proof, in the Pennsylvania case," Trump said in his first tweet on Saturday afternoon.

"Some people just don't want to see it. They want nothing to do with saving our Country. Sad!!!

"The number of ballots that our Campaign is challenging in the Pennsylvania case is FAR LARGER than the 81,000 vote margin," he added in his second tweet.

"It's not even close. Fraud and illegality ARE a big part of the case. Documents being completed. We will appeal!"

The president was referencing his campaign's call to stop president-elect Biden from being certified as the winner of Pennsylvania.

On Friday, a federal appeals court had denied the endeavor, declaring that "calling an election unfair does not make it so" to Trump's continuous fraud claims and unwillingness to concede.

Trump's lawyers promised to appeal to the Supreme Court notwithstanding the judge's announcement that the "campaign's claims have no merit."

"Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here," Judge Stephanos Bibas wrote for the three-judge board.

The three judges on the board were all elected by Republican presidents, and Bibas, a former University of Pennsylvania law professor, was selected by Trump.

The case had also been discussed last week in a lower court by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who maintained during five hours of oral arguments that the 2020 presidential election had been damaged by a broad fraud in Pennsylvania.

U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann had said the campaign's complaint "like Frankenstein's Monster, has been haphazardly stitched together" and denied Giuliani the right to improve it for a second time.

The 3rd U.S. The Circuit Court of Appeals called that ruling justified Friday, calling any revisions "futile".
