“I know Philadelphia well,” the former vice president stated to the crowd at a drive-in rally in a church parking lot. “I married a Philly girl by the way and by the way got my Eagle’s jacket on.”
Although, Biden’s parka bore the logo of the University of Delaware Blue Hens — where he got his bachelor’s degree.
The mix-up, of course, was soon noticed by President Trump’s campaign.
“I hope all of my fellow @Eagles fans saw Joe Biden claim to be wearing an Eagles jacket today in Philly,” Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh Twitter. “It was a Delaware Blue Hens jacket,” he said.

Biden’s Sunday Eagle’s remark was the latest slip for the gaffe-prone Democratic presidential candidate.

Last month, Biden embarrassedly argued that “210 million” people died from the virus before quickly giving the right figure at the time — 210,000.
In a similar faux pas in June, he falsely said that 120 million died of COVID-19.

The president has recently played videos of Biden’s mistakes throughout his campaign rallies, including in North Carolina on Sunday night.
Biden forced Philadelphians on Sunday to surge to the polls and fight “voter suppression," even as President Donald Trump indicated plans to attack a legitimate vote count assumed to extend past Election Day.

While new polls Sunday continued dispensing Biden with strong leads — both nationally and in Pennsylvania, the state that could potentially determine the whole election — memories of 2016 rose over the homestretch, when Trump defied public polls to stun Democrats and much of the country.

Visiting Philadelphia for two of the last events of his campaign, Biden tried to force voters in the Democratic core of a state that his party lost by less than 1 percentage point four years ago.
In a city where Black voters make much of the Democratic backing, Biden cited vast racial differences in the effects of COVID19 and in treatment by law enforcement, rattling off the names of Black people killed by police — including Walter Wallace Jr., the Black man killed by officers in West Philadelphia last week as he used a knife and struggled with mental sickness.
It is widely assumed that counting votes, and deciding a winner, will take longer than usual, perhaps even many days, because of the large number of voters mailing their ballots to avoid crowds throughout the coronavirus pandemic. Mail ballots take longer to count — that’s normal, not a sign of fraud. What’s surprising is the sheer volume of them being used.
