The last time that the contentious 50-year-old was seen, was in a memo of support for his father displayed during the Democratic National Convention in August when Mr Biden officially accepted the nomination for President.
As the story of his abandoned laptop has grown, so has the phrase: "Where's Hunter?"
Social media has been awash with possible sightings – from Mexico to the Caribbean, from Delaware to Brazil.
Hunter and his third wife Melissa, who married last year and have a baby boy born in April, were most recently living in a rented house in the Hollywood Hills.

But neighbors last week said they had seen no liveliness at the house "in weeks".

A source familiar with the Biden campaign said: "Hunter is being kept well out of it. My guess is that he's holed up in a house somewhere.
"The last thing anyone wants is for him to come anywhere near Joe in the final days of the campaign.

"Even if Joe wins, it is unlikely that Hunter will be there. In this era of Covid there won't be a big party. It will be Joe in his basement making his acceptance speech."
When Mr Biden was Vice President to Barack Obama, Hunter was often filmed at the White House and his laptop is packed with citations about accompanying his father in events.

In one message he writes: "On my way to MY. Dad is doing Colbert", a hint to The Late Show With Stephen Colbert TV show.

There are several pictures of Hunter with his father on the laptop. In one, the two sit inside what appears to be a military plane. Other images show Hunter with his children, sister and mother.
Requests for comment sent to Hunter's email address were ignored.

Hunter, 50, being the second son of former Vice President Joe Biden, who wants to be president, has been protected by the corrupt mainstream media. And while there is no throne to inherit in the U.S., Hunter will continue to live royally, especially if Joe Biden, “the big guy,” is elected.

Hunter, at age 43, was appointed as an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve in May 2013. The only action he saw was on the wrong side of the War on Drugs. He served for a month before he was booted out after testing positive for cocaine.
Hunter is the only man in history to have pulled strings not only to get in the Navy but to get out as well. No wonder the left-wing media loves him.
