Over 60 percent of Americans now believe that the bipartisan establishment has let them down, and they are seeking a party that truly represents them," Stein asserts.

She goes on to say, "We will present solutions to the crises we face: extreme inequality, endless wars, and the impending climate catastrophe. The ruling parties that have led us into this mess are not capable of getting us out. Both parties pose a threat to our democracy, with their attempts to expand censorship, criminalize protests, suppress debates, and manipulate their primaries."

Dr. Jill Stein was born in Chicago and raised in Highland Park, Illinois. She graduated with honors from Harvard College in 1973 and obtained her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 1979, according to her website. Stein describes herself as a climate justice warrior and environmentalist, actively involved in initiatives to combat "environmental racism, injustice, and pollution."
