During an appearance by phone on Candace Owen’s eponymous Daily Wire show "Candace," Trump said he was "absolutely enthused" and looking forward to "doing an announcement at the right time."
"I think people are going to be very, very happy when I make a certain announcement," Trump said.
Trump continued that it is still very new in the campaign process for 2024, and for campaign finance reasons, it would not make sense to announce any conclusions at this time.

"Otherwise I’d give you an answer that I think you’d be very happy with," Trump told Owens. "All I say is, ‘Stay tuned.’"
The former president's interview with Owens marks the first time he's shown that his supporters would be "happy" with his 2024 choice. In recent interviews, Trump has repeatedly winked at making another run for the Oval Office without definitively confirming or denying plans to launch a campaign.

Owens, a GOP firebrand and vocal proponent of the 45th president, joked about joining him as his running mate on the 2024 ticket.

"What a good choice that would be. That would be fantastic. You would be fantastic," Trump said along with a chuckle in response to Owens's inquiry about whether she could be his vice president.
"I guess I'll take you at your word, that in 2024 Trump and Owens are going to be on the ticket," Owens said with a smile.
The president also expressed that he will be "doing" a social media platform soon – though he said his daily press statements allow him to get the same number of coverage more elegantly, without a character count.

As previously reported by Fox News, Trump propelled an intelligence "platform" on Tuesday after he was suspended from Facebook and Twitter.
The platform, a page on his website, will let Trump post images, videos and comments on the platform, which is called "From the Desk of Donald J. Trump," as a way for him to convey messages and information to his supporters.

Facebook is expected to conclude Wednesday whether to extend Trump’s ban on the platform indefinitely.

Trump said he watched "with great pleasure" as Romney, a frequent critic of the former president, "got booed off the stage."
"People get it, you know they get it. They know phonies and they know people we affectionately call people RINOs," Trump said, referring to "Republicans in name only."
"But they know phony people."
