In a shocking revelation, a 22-year-old illegal immigrant from Lebanon, apprehended by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents on March 9, confessed to being a member of the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

Basel Bassel Ebbadi, the apprehended individual, disclosed his sinister intentions to construct a bomb and target New York City, as per a document obtained by the New York Post.

Ebbadi's chilling confession to CBP was, "I'm going try to make a bomb," when probed about his purpose in the US. Further revelations from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) documents indicated that Ebbadi had undergone a seven-year training stint with Hezbollah, focusing on "jihad" and the extermination of non-Muslims. Following his training, he served a four-year tenure as a guard at weapon locations for the organization.

In a surprising twist, Ebbadi claimed his flight to the United States was driven by his reluctance to take lives, stating, "I didn't want to kill people," but added ominously, "once you're in, you can never get out." The Tactical Terrorism Response Team (TTRT) subsequently took Ebbadi into custody, with deportation proceedings underway.

The CBP website reveals a concerning trend, with 59 individuals on the terrorist watchlist apprehended while attempting illegal entry into the US between October and February. The previous fiscal year saw 172 such individuals intercepted by CBP agents.

This alarming increase in potential terrorist-linked illegal immigrants was highlighted by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) in an October letter to Department of Homeland Security head Alejandro Mayorkas. Hawley expressed his concern, stating, "I write with alarm regarding the uptick in potential terrorist-linked illegal aliens encountered at the southern border." He drew attention to the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists, stating, "This development follows the barbaric attack perpetrated by Hamas terrorists on innocent American and Israeli civilians."

Hawley emphasized the urgency of addressing this issue to ensure the safety of American citizens, particularly Jewish Americans, who he noted were facing heightened threats to their physical safety following the Hamas attack.
