The family of a 3-year-old boy is coming to grips with a new reality after he was shoved off of the Navy Pier in Chicago.

The boy’s aunt shoved him into the water, which would end up causing him massive amounts of injuries, resulting in his untimely death.

Josiah Brown was the little boy’s name. The Cook County Medical Examiner logged that the young boy passed away around 10 a.m.

Fox News reported that the boy’s aunt, “Victoria Moreno, allegedly pushed the child into the water when no one was looking and watched him drown. Authorities said Moreno did nothing to help the child, who vomited twice and sank before witnesses could help him.”

Aunt Moreno tried to lie out of trouble by claiming she did not know the child. She would later change her story to claim that she pushed him into the water to punish the boy for being wrong.

Fox News also reported that “Prosecutors said the boy suffered from a swollen brain, seizures, and bleeding in his lungs. The child’s heart was depressed as well, necessitating a heart infusion.”

The boy went through unexplainable horrors all because the person with him could not stand to be around him any longer. After she shoved him into the water, the boy’s aunt never tried to jump in and help him. All she could do was spitefully stand by and watch the boy sink to the bottom of the lake and drown.

Children have been targeted by spiteful people all through the pandemic period. But to have one die at the hands of a person supposed to protect them from harm is unexplainable. The boy trusted his aunt; unfortunately, he would fall victim to her murderous intentions.
