Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has expressed a willingness to halt the publication of American government scientists' work in leading medical journals, citing concerns over corruption and their ties to Big Pharma.

This bold stance is part of Kennedy's Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) agenda, which he discussed during an appearance on the Ultimate Human podcast. Kennedy indicated that the agency is considering the creation of its own in-house journals as an alternative.

Kennedy's remarks, as reported by Breitbart, highlight his skepticism towards established medical publications such as The Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, and JAMA. "We’re probably going to stop publishing in the Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, and those other journals, because they’re all corrupt," Kennedy stated, pointing out that these journals often rely on studies funded by pharmaceutical companies.

He suggested that unless there is a "radical" change, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) might develop its own journals, which he believes could "become the preeminent journals" due to the credibility associated with NIH funding.

Kennedy's initiative is part of a broader effort to restore trust in the medical community, which has been shaken by the handling of coronavirus policies. These policies, characterized by incomplete or erroneous studies, have led to prolonged adherence to ineffective measures such as universal masking, social distancing, and widespread vaccination.

In a significant move towards rectifying these issues, Kennedy, alongside NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary, announced that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) would no longer recommend the coronavirus vaccine for healthy children and pregnant women.

"I couldn’t be more pleased to announce that as of today, the COVID vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women has been removed from the CDC recommended immunization schedule," Kennedy declared, criticizing the Biden administration for previously advocating the vaccine for healthy children "despite the lack of any clinical data to support the repeat booster strategy in children."

Dr. Bhattacharya supported this decision, stating, "That ends today. It’s common sense. That’s good science." Dr. Makary added, "There’s no evidence healthy kids need it today, and most countries have stopped recommending it for children."

Kennedy emphasized that this decision aligns with President Donald Trump's vision to Make America Healthy Again. The announcement coincides with the release of the MAHA Commission Report, which focuses on enhancing children's health in the United States.

The report explores the connections between chronic diseases and factors such as ultra-processed foods and vaccines. Kennedy's actions signal a shift towards a more transparent and accountable approach in the medical field, reflecting a commitment to conservative values of individual freedom and skepticism towards large, potentially overreaching institutions.
