Fox News commentator Jessica Tarlov has observed a growing sense of fatigue among some of President Donald Trump's staunchest supporters, who are becoming increasingly disillusioned with the "chaos" characterizing his early days in office.

Tarlov, who previously described the rollout of Trump's agenda as "complete chaos" on The Five, discussed the matter with Scott Galloway on The Prof G Podcast, focusing on Elon Musk's expanding influence within the federal government.

As reported by The Daily Beast, Tarlov and Galloway, a marketing professor at NYU's Stern School of Business, examined Musk's involvement in governmental affairs and the mounting legal challenges he faces, alongside the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Tarlov recounted an interaction with a 20-year-old college student who expressed growing frustration with Trump's second term. "It only took two weeks, and this level of chaos, for some Trump supporters to become frustrated. This is likely just the beginning," Tarlov noted on X. The student, hailing from the Midwest, reached out to Tarlov after a phone conversation, stating, "I really appreciated hearing what you had to say the past week. You really opened my mind on certain things, as someone who voted for Trump."

The young man's concerns extend beyond political chaos to economic implications, particularly the impact of new tariffs on his family's small business, which relies on Chinese imports. Trump recently imposed a 25 percent tariff on steel and aluminum, following a 10 percent tariff on all Chinese imports. "So this is a 20-year-old 'bro' who comes from a conservative family, they love Trump and it only took them—I got this a week ago—two weeks... this level of chaos for him to feel strongly enough that he would write that down," Tarlov shared.

Despite these individual frustrations, a CBS News poll indicates that a majority of Americans view Trump's initial weeks positively, describing him as "tough," "energetic," "focused," and "effective." However, concerns persist over his proposed Gaza takeover and unmet promises to curb inflation.
