Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party's presumptive nominee, is poised to unveil her vice presidential running mate by Tuesday, ahead of a planned rally in Philadelphia.

This move comes despite the fact that Harris has yet to receive a single vote from the American electorate. Instead, her campaign appears to be riding on a wave of media buzz, carefully orchestrated by the Democratic Party's elite.

According to The Post Millennial, following the announcement and the Philadelphia rally, Harris's campaign is slated to "barnstorm cities in seven swing states in four days," as reported by Politico. The states in question include Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada, with a particular focus on the major urban areas in these states. The campaign's strategy seems to hinge on the belief that their chances in these swing states, which were tilting towards Trump when Biden was the frontrunner, have improved with Harris at the helm.

The shortlist for Harris's running mate has reportedly included figures such as Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. Pennsylvania is a crucial battleground for Democrats, with Philadelphia being the state's largest and most left-leaning city. Other potential candidates, like Gretchen Whitmer, have already indicated they will not be the Democratic vice-presidential nominee. Arizona's Mark Kelly and former transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg have also been touted as potential contenders, with Buttigieg already serving as a vocal advocate for the campaign.

When quizzed by reporters about her choice of running mate, Harris stated, "not yet." Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Kentucky's Governor Andy Beshear are also reportedly under consideration. Shapiro, meanwhile, has stated that he has not been in contact with Harris since Biden's departure from the race on July 21, despite his vocal support for the former California senator.

Harris's campaign rally in Atlanta on Tuesday night featured a concert by Megan Thee Stallion. However, the departure of attendees following the concert sparked speculation that the main attraction for the crowd was not Harris, but the chart-topping rapper. This raises questions about the true level of grassroots support for Harris, suggesting that her campaign may be more reliant on media hype and party elites than on genuine voter enthusiasm.
