In a surprising turn of events, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, known offstage as Terry Gene Bollea, has expressed his readiness to enter the political arena as a presidential or vice-presidential candidate, promising to "rule with an iron fist."

The 70-year-old WWE Hall of Famer made these remarks during a recent appearance on Fox News, as reported by Gateway Pundit.

During his interview on "Fox & Friends," Hogan emphasized the need for a leader with common sense. "We need somebody in there that’s got some common sense, you know what I’m saying? So if you need a president or a vice president, I’ll volunteer and take this country over, and I’ll rule with an iron fist," Hogan declared. He further outlined his potential policies, which would be grounded in simplicity and fairness, including "a flat tax and nothing but common sense."

Asserting his moral compass, Hogan confidently stated, "I know right from wrong, brother!" This isn't the first time the wrestling superstar has flirted with politics. In 2018, he contemplated a run for the Florida Senate but ultimately chose not to pursue it.

Currently, Hogan is on a media tour promoting his latest venture, "Real American Beer." He revealed to Fox News that the inspiration for his own beer company came after witnessing the Bud Light's Dylan Mulvaney debacle. "I had this crazy idea because I saw how competitive the beer industry was, and I saw what happened with Bud Light and their whole promotion that crashed and burned. I saw this crazy open lane," Hogan explained.

While Hogan's political ambitions may seem unconventional, his emphasis on common sense policies and his belief in right from wrong resonate with conservative values. Whether he will trade the wrestling ring for the political one remains to be seen.
