Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, has consistently maintained that his form of "revenge" in a potential second term would be success.

According to RedState, Trump's definition of success is synonymous with the prosperity of America, which he believes would lead to the downfall of the Democratic agenda.

In a town hall meeting in February, Trump dismissed the notion of seeking revenge, stating, "I don’t care about the revenge thing. I know they usually use the word revenge. Will there be revenge? My revenge will be success." This statement came in the wake of a $354 million fine imposed on him by Letitia James, a Democrat attorney general in New York, over established real estate practices.

Trump echoed this sentiment even after Alvin Bragg, a Democrat district attorney, secured 34 felony counts of falsifying business records against him in late May. "My revenge will be success," he reiterated.

However, the question remains whether this approach will suffice in the current political climate. The nation is navigating through unprecedented times, with impeachment, once a rare occurrence, being weaponized twice by Democrats over seemingly trivial reasons - a phone call and a call for peaceful protest.

If Trump finds himself back in the White House in January 2025, he will need to adopt a similar mindset from day one. The era of playing nice appears to be over. The Department of Justice, which has been accused of harboring a far-left faction that despises the country they serve, needs a comprehensive overhaul.

The State Department, seen as a stronghold of Democrat donors, could also benefit from a thorough cleansing. The IRS, which has been accused of targeting conservatives, needs to be abolished, according to some conservatives.

The military, accused of establishing back channels to China and promising to warn them if Trump, as president, had authorized an attack, has been labeled as treasonous.

Members of the Republican Party have been criticized for funding Ukraine at the expense of border security. Congress, which refused to allocate $5 billion for a border wall during Trump's presidency, is now accused of providing President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with that amount monthly.

These actions have led to accusations of political persecution against the former president and a disregard for the security of the American people and the agenda of their chosen president.

Trump's success would indeed be a form of revenge against a uni-party whose sole motivation is power. However, the reverse is also true. Retaliating against lawmakers who refuse to make America great again is essential for a prosperous America. Striking back at the deep state and the corrupt justice system is crucial for restoring faith in the rule of law.

In a recent interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Trump stated that those expecting him to seek retribution are mistaken. "It has to stop, because otherwise, we're not going to have a country,” he said.

However, some argue that the country is at risk if Biden, the Democrats, and weak Republicans are not stopped. If Trump believes that they won't continue to undermine him in a potential second term, or that they won't pursue his successors with the same criminal vigor, or halt their systematic destruction of a once great nation, he may be sadly mistaken.

The left has shown Trump how to play the game. Now, it's his turn to win it using their rules, for the sake of the nation.
