In a recent video, former President Donald Trump issued a stern warning, suggesting that left-wing politicians are attempting to reintroduce COVID-19 lockdowns and mandates in the lead-up to the 2024 election.

"The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear-mongering about the new variants that are coming. Gee whiz, you know what else is coming? An election," Trump stated.

According to Trump, the left's objective is to reignite COVID-19 hysteria, thereby justifying the implementation of more lockdowns, increased censorship, and the use of illegal drop boxes and mail-in ballots. He also accused them of planning to allocate trillions of dollars to their political allies ahead of the 2024 election. "Does that sound familiar? These are bad people. These are sick people we’re dealing with," he added.

Trump's message was directed at "every COVID tyrant" who might be considering the reintroduction of these measures, which he believes infringe upon individual freedoms. "Hear these words: we will not comply. So don't even think about it. We will not shut down our schools, we will not accept your lockdowns, we will not abide by your mask mandates, and we will not tolerate your vaccine mandates," he declared.

The former President went on to accuse the left of manipulating the 2020 election and attempting to do the same for the upcoming 2024 election. He suggested that they might even try to bring back COVID-19 to achieve this. "But they will fail because we will not let it happen. When I'm back in the White House, I will use every available authority to cut federal funding to any school, college, airline, or public transportation system that imposes a mask mandate or a vaccine mandate," he asserted.

Meanwhile, new variants of COVID-19, collectively referred to as the "FLiRT" variants, have been identified. These variants, descendants of the Omicron strain, are believed to have mutations that make them more adept at penetrating the human immune system. However, the Omicron strain and its sub-variants have proven to be less harmful than their predecessors, leading the CDC to relax guidelines for those who test positive.
