In a recent interview with Howard Stern, President Biden recounted a peculiar episode from his early days as a senator, when he received "very salacious pictures" from women.

The President, who was unmarried at the time, stated that he handed these images over to the Secret Service, an agency primarily tasked with protecting the President and investigating counterfeiting and fraud.

President Biden, now 81, did not elaborate on why the Secret Service would be involved in such a matter. The images were sent to him during his tenure as a senator from 1973 to 1977, a period when he was not married.

The President also shared other intriguing anecdotes with Stern, including a revelation about his relationship with his first wife, Neilia Hunter. He stated that he had never been intimate with her when he proposed, saying, "I think I'm gonna marry you." Biden and Hunter were married in 1966, but tragically, she died in a car accident in 1972.

During the interview, which lasted over an hour, President Biden seemed to confuse some basic facts. He mentioned twice that he was preparing to address the Gridiron Club's annual dinner in Washington, D.C., on Saturday night. However, he had already attended the Gridiron dinner last month and was actually referring to the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

"I'm going to the Gridiron dinner on Saturday … and the serious thing I'm going to say at the Gridiron dinner … is the free press isn't speaking up as much as it used to," Biden told Stern. He expressed concern that some members of the press were hesitant to criticize former President Donald Trump.

The President also claimed that he was arrested while standing on a porch with a black family during civil rights protests, a claim he has made before. However, there is no evidence to support this claim, and at other times, Biden has admitted that he was not involved in the civil rights movement.

President Biden also shared that as a young lawyer, he worked on "a couple murder cases" and saved lives "half a dozen times" while working as a lifeguard at a swimming pool in Delaware. He modestly added, "it's not like it's so heroic."

Stern responded to these stories by exclaiming, "What a crazy career you've had!" without questioning the veracity of the President's claims.

In another mix-up, President Biden confused former Presidents Richard Nixon and Donald Trump, which he referred to as a "Freudian slip." He also shared that Trump often mocks him, likening Trump to a neighborhood bully he'd like to confront.

The President then recounted a childhood incident where he stood up to a bully, encouraged by his mother who told him to "hit him right in the nose." He also shared a story about his mother confronting a Roman Catholic nun who allegedly mocked his childhood stutter.

In a more somber revelation, President Biden admitted that he briefly contemplated suicide following the death of his first wife. "You don't have to be nuts to commit suicide," he said, adding that he considered jumping off the Delaware Memorial Bridge but refrained due to his responsibilities towards his two children.

The interview provided a candid and sometimes confusing glimpse into the life and career of President Biden, with Stern concluding, "It's a very cinematic life you've had!"
